Meet Heather!
Heather was born in Yellowknife, NWT & raised in Calgary, Alberta. She attended the Alberta College of Art & Design (now Alberta University of the Arts), where she studied for her BFA majoring in Drawing.
During her time at ACAD, Heather got her start in the beauty industry working for MAC Cosmetics as a make-up artist.
As an artist, it’s no wonder Heather naturally gravitated to hair as a medium. In 2016, she enrolled at the Aveda Institute in Calgary, and has been growing her craft behind the chair ever since.
Heather’s experience includes styling hair for bridal, television, backstage for fashion shows, and on stage. She has been nominated for Behind the Chair awards and Masters of Balayage awards. Heather loves styling hair and loves creating gorgeous blondes and lived in colour.
If she’s not creating gorgeous hair, you’ll find Heather hanging with her partner James, daughter Islay, two dogs and cat named Cheese.
Heather loves skiing, paddle-boarding, reading, gardening, and posting up at a brewery.
